Just a helpful tip that you probably already know but resurface the flywheel and clean up the engine really good before you drop it in. Also I think the other thing you were referring to with your clutch kit was the pilot bearing

Ok so i haven't updated in a couple of days but thats because i haven't really done any work, i did a couple of small things and didn't take too many pics but here are some
so the other day thereildeals harness arrived in the mail along with a set of bp injectors(thanks btw)
shes an ugly one right now but shes got potential especially because i just bought a new door and slanted hood, along with new fender !
took out the fusebox harness and headlight in order to remove some unnecessary wiring that looked really bad
and then yesterday i got the b code vaf woo hoo! lol
today i got around to removing the dash and the A/C evaporator, my question is does anyone know what i can do since there is no air flowing between the blower motor and the heating unit also harness not removed in this pic

As she sits at the end of the night with an exhaust broken into 4 peices

well it was leaking because someidiot left the valve cover offf and ran the motor and was revving it! lol yeah i don't know what happened to teh shifter im going to figure that out i didn't even look at it yet what can i do?
and yeah me not removing the trans gave me some trouble, it was a bitch to pry the engine off the tranny and then kind of move them to the side so the pressure plate had enough room to clearLast edited by deathtrigga; 01-18-2009, 11:25 PM.

I have a factory muffler for that car that I will give you free. Well, mine was off of a 94 DX with SOHC that had gotten crashed on the side while I was driving it. I think it was the same for all 1st generation Proteges but can't be sure. It was starting to rust some years ago but no holes had developed when I took it off but I live in dry climate in Florida. The only thing is some guy wanted to buy it about 3 years ago and I packed it and sealed the box. He then changed his mind. The box got wet a couple of times with the rain so I put it in the metal shed in the back yard. I don't know how it looks now and don't even want to unpack it to look. It's got to be in better shape than yours but I make no guarantee. If you want it, just pay shipping in advance. I will use whatever carrier you want to use and my zip code is 33147. It includes the pipe that comes attached to it from the factory/manufacturer besides the tailpipe.

yeah i got it from CT from some guy who listed it on ebay, i bidded on it and i didn't win but the winning bidder never paid so he gave me the 2nd chance offer and so i bought it for $130 w/ new theromstate included and some gaskets and hoses. pretty good deall you have a BG? and where abouts in jersey are you located?

Ok so past couple of days iv been messing with my new donoregt, pretty much stripping it of all usable parts. here are some pics of it if you havent seen it yet.
here it is with the fanblades stripped from it
started working on removing the g series
started removing the bell housing bolts
getting the mounts
more bell housing bolts
nice looking exhaust that i will take for the time being for my protege because mine is in 4 peices
took out the egt rad
im thinking about customizing the mounts to work in my pro or i might go for a geo metro radiator
about to drop the tranny
and shes outta there
we had to torch this part of the frame off because there were to bolts on the front of the cross member that somehow had nuts inside the frame and they would never loosen enough to come out so we had to torch that bitch off lol
