shouldn't put your battery on the ground. It drains it.
Battery will lose charge the same if left on a rack compared to a concrete floor.
Before that used to be true because of the way batteries were made, but not anymore.
Props, the fact that you cover differences between Miata and Protege is a plus to the thread.
Amazing documentary of info, very well.
We also found out that between the escort, mx3, and the protege, they all have slight differences between the pedal assemblies. The auto pedal assembly from the protege has the brackets for the clutch pedal, but has a completely different mounting method for the clutch pedal switch. He took pics of the pro auto assembly next to the escort manual assembly side by side to show. The mx3 pedal assembly is like a mix between the two.
Started cleaning up the jy trans for the swap. Beer + a tooth brush + high acidic content vinegar + hot water + dawn x2 concentrate + patience + elbow grease = this clean spot.
Off to Jinx's house later tonight after I get off work. over this week I've got new GSP axles, slave cyl, master cyl, clutch lines, and a throw out bearing. Hopefully everything works out.
Well today we worked all day on the car. We cleaned everthing up nice. Half way through the night we decided the shifter bushings were necessary.. lol we ended up making some from some plastic. fun..
A lot more pictures in the morning. now, I'm going to go die of exhaustion.
