It's stashed away till I get the motor in. I don't want it getting ****ed up from anything while I'm putting the engine in.

Ordered some hoses, fittings, and other crap off Jegs. Reason being, when I took my current coolant lines off the turbo they snapped like twigs so I figured I'd upgrade to some better stuff.

I wish I had a GTR intake manifold to go on. But money doesn't allow

definitely interested in seeing these push-loc fittings in use! How much is it costing you to do the two turbo lines? I'd like to do those, as well as the TB and IAC lines.

push loc fittings are cake, I use them on customers cars at work sometimes. I'm not using the push loc hose fittings on my car though, just the hose because its extremely durable and looks good. The hose is fairly pricey though. I got a 45* 3/8npt 1/2 hose barb for the oil pan though. Which wasn't cheap either. lol

So.. the 2nd gen is better than the "cut" 1st gen intake, and the GTR intake? how so?

larger dynamic chamber on the 2nd gen is worth a dyno'd 1 WHP increase with no other changes. (**you can cut the 2nd gen design just like the 1st**)

the flow of the 2nd gen design is improved over the 1st gen unit- it has virtually equal volume to each runner due to the plenum taper inside.

benefits of a GTR manifold are strictly equal flow. compared to the GTX manifold it provides more tq because it has a balanced plenum (unfortunately a smaller area tho)

i've been a fan of the NA manifolds because of the "dual plane" runner system(VICS) the engine really does need/utilize this.
