      lookin great!
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

          Today's work:

Throttle pedal mounted - the JDM car has the mount points integral to the firewall (nutserts welded to reinforced portion of the firewall), and since I didn't want to weld some nuts to a thin shell, I just took the LHD mounting bracket, trimmed it, and welded it in the proper position (there are guiding dimples in place) for RHD.

          Closeup of throttle pedal bracket

Clutch M/C holes - here I thought I should avoid cutting - so I just cut out the RHD portion of the clutch M/C and used it to trace the shape - then I used the proper hole saw (1 1/4") and drill bits (25/64") to make the holes. Fits like a glove.

Pedals installed - mocked up to align the inside bracket, outside 'patch' and the mounted top brackets for the pedal assembly. As they sat like that, I tack welded the inner bracket, removed the pedals & M/C, then aligned the outer patch to match the inside and it all came together.

          Outer patch stitch welded

          End result - looks factory

That's also being done. I think I mentioned it in passing on page 1. I bought a brand new mx3 wire harness, and combined with the old one I will have plenty of wire to extend it where I need, keeping the same gauge and color and plugs. It won't be a show car tuck (I'll be leaving the hydraulics mainly untouched) but I don't want no more wire spider webs either. Battery's going to trunk for more rear weight balance.

The engine appearance inspiration comes from the 2001 Mazda 626 MPS concept car - this will be the engine bay color scheme, except not as cluttered:

And I still forgot to order the manual RHD steering rack, as the GTX one is power and I can't stand the leakage and space taking and weight. Can't do a wire tuck with a bunch of PS lines taking up the room in there.
I'll sell you my GTR's HVAC stuff, I'm going for a LHD conversion (tired of the poor line of sight and left hand turns). I'll also be getting rid of my steering rack but that won't be until september. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Your GT-R stuff is probably all electric and won't have the correct plugs either. Also you most likely have power steering, which I passionately dislike.
