here it is, just got back my crankshaft for a full knife edge and balancing job. The result's awesome. Here few number from what I got. I brought 3 cranks to the shop and we compared those. We deceided to knife edge a stock BP one wich was in a better shape than the 2 others.
-the first one is my own GTR crank that weigh 36lb. yeah, the gt-r crank weigh 1.5lb more than a stock BP one
-second is a stock BP that weigh 34.5lb
-the 3rd is the knife edged that weigh 31lb

Look where they removed material to balance it. The polishing finish is just awesome!! I like it!!

let's do some maths now. There's a lot of mass removed off the internal.
Stock GTR:
-piston, 495g x 4, 1980g
-rods, 685g x4, 2740g
-flywheel, 21lb/9525g
-crankshaft, 36lb/16329g
Total: 30.574kg/67.4lb
After the diet:
-JE pistons, 299g (matched) x 4, 1196g (saved 784g)
-scats rods, 524g (matched) x 4, 2096g (saved 644g)
-fidanza flywheel, 9lb/4082g (re-balanced with pressure plate) (saved 5443g)
-knife edged crank, 31lb/14061g, (saved 2268g)
Total: 21.435kg/47.25lb
Total mass removed: 9.139kg/20.15lb
Awesome!!! From Thursday to Sunday, I'm assembling back the GT-R, so expect lots of pictures, again , of the work. The list of things to do now:
-Put back the engine in one piece.
-install new frount mount oil cooler, FMOC lol.
-New eibach drop suspension.
-Change both rear wheel bearings.
-Install new HKS EVC VI boost controller
-Install new HKS turbo timer.
-Install new discs and pads brake to the 4 corners
-Few mods over my stainless 3" hexaust line, deleting the high flow cat + welding V-band clamps instead of flanges.
-...and the things I'm missing right now.

They were the same diameter as a stock BP except for the exhaust side, the valve is sodium type so it dissipate the heat through the valve steam instead of the seats.

Hey just a quick note to let you know that I got now a 8000rpm monster!!!
the car is running stock waste gate (14.7 psi) and pulls as much as 20 last year. I got lots of pics and a video of a 0-190km/h acceleration. I now reach 190km/h in 4th gear while I was hitting cutoff at 170km/h with the same transmission.
