    hmm...was he on ethanol with his n/a motor??? i dont remember to be honest. i know hes on it now with the boosted engine.

    30% over factory is 299. so if i ran 310 injectors i would be golden. or stick w/ the kia's and run a lil rich?

    we'll keep in touch to figure out what ya come up with for results.

      could have been someone else, whos got the e85 in the avatar? i know he got like 320 from a vf10 on a stock bpt motor, which was got me interested what i can get from what i got... only diff is pnp'd vf8, cnc'd turbine housing to fit the vf8, stock bp block with higher CR and web cams.... i think i might have a cs downpipe over what he had, but it made me really want to try it out...

          so you need 300cc injectors? aren't the Kia injectors 290cc? I don't understand why you think you'll run rich off the Kia injectors, but not on 310cc ones...

            lol ya he gave me his fuel and spark tables back when i got the first idea of trying e85, then figured out i was already at 93% dc with 460s so didnt wanna try till new injectors, which have now been in about 2 weeks tops..lol... his tables are atleast something to go off for now, just to get an idea of how much more timing it had than what im giving it now..

              jack..isnt it better to run rich rather than lean??? AFAIK running slightly rich wont damage your engine compared to lean.

              290+k-code on regular pump gas is the condition were kicking around for rich and running MS

              310+e85 on MS is what josh and i are discussing.

                Dude get ms out of your head if you want to save some money and headaches. Get the engine in and do some tuning via vaf and you will be set. need a bump in timing? Just advance your timing. No need for ms, remember that this is your dd not your summer car. Also I have 310cc injectors if you need them. if you want help just call me. Also get a wideband 1st.

                  so what your saying is i dont need MS to run e85? and all i gotta do is pop in 310 injectors?

                    jack i just figured out what you were talking about. i meant to crank the wheel on the AFM richer. sorry for the confusion.

                    antonio... how much ya want for those injectors?? gonna pick up an LC-1 and add in the innovate autotimer/afr/voltmeter reader on the wideband side of things.

                      I ran E85 On my factory ECU. In the Supercharged car. Tuning via U/K code hybrid, 310cc injectors and a 12:1 FMU. I had the base timing at 18* adv, at 10psi without knock.

                      I finally melted those pistons (after 8k miles of heavy abuse) when the boost reference line for the FMU popped off the intake mani. But before then, it ran golden. I am ditching the FMU for a gtx ecu on my next attempt. I hate the FMU.

                      Edit: Had I had a wideband at the time, I could have saved that motor. I was tuning off the plugs, which works for tuning purposes... but doesn't do **** for monitoring that everything is working. Definitely use a wideband.

                        wideband for sure. thought about making the cheapo DIY narrowband...but found an LC-1 and readout for an irresistable price for a 1000% better product.

                          ordered the reducer for the manifold this morning. pre-cut exhaust cam is coming with all 16 lifters. w/p timing belt kit is on its way. should get them all between tomorrow and next monday or tuesday.

                          got that nasty restriction cut off the manifold. ughh... what piss poor design that was huh?? and all the lil mounting tabs cut off as well. still gotta grind the welds down.

                            got the reducer welded up today. closed up the EGR bung hole. lol. next is getting a flex-pipe and a bent pipe welded up to mate to the rest of the exhaust.
