I'll need to put it up on stands to get a better idea, but looks like it might be a tad too long and maybe slightly bent in the wrong direction for the 2nd gen past the rear subframe section.

Just got done test fitting the kit and ran in to three small problems.

1.) I can't clear my short shifter.. It's pretty much a by a cunt hair, but I might be able to indent on the pipe to cure this. My crush bent was bent slightly around the shifter to clear it.
2.) The mid section is 4 inches too short to reach my DP, this can be fixed just by cutting a section of the extra straight pipes that I have left over from the downpipe creation and weld it to the mid pipes end, problem solved.
3.) The over the subframe piece is too short to reach my muffler without adding a few inches of straight to it at the very rear, another easy fix.

Overall opinion of this kit? Me rikey! Can't really beat the price for what it is @ $145 shipped with all hardware/flanges included, I'm very happy with it and it fits almost perfectly on the 2nd gen escort. Best part about my new exhaust setup is that it can all be disconnected and easily taken out if it needed to be. I'll get pics of it all laid out and assembled after I finish the extension mods to it.

This the Trubendz kit your talking about? If so I used that kit as well. It does need a few cuts on the part over the axle to fit right but will work.

Finally got a chance to go down to the place that's going to weld my manifold this morning With a little bit of luck, I might actually get it done today!!! Just waiting on a call back for the ok to bring it back to be done.

i just got my 2 buttweld fittings from ACE-STAINLESS mimicing what i bought from the last external gate setup.

1's for madtownmazda's gtx manifold.
1 is for my (GT) manifold i'll post up pics when i get it done & we can compare

I never got a call back yesterday which means hes either a lazy SOB or he couldn't get the stuff in. Gonna call today and see what the deal is because I'm way behind on getting the car back on the road. In the meantime I'll probably work on the exhaust and get it over and done with.
