Well the dude ended up telling me a bunch of BS and it's missing the cam journal caps which are mixed up in a box with many others and he has exactly no clue about BP's!?! Without those it's pretty much garbage and he's not interested in digging around for the correct ones. I'm not even going to bother with this one... There happens to be two more truly complete ones in SC that's on ebay for $250 + shipping, I may look into it.

Well, since my garage isn't a meat locker tonight, I decided to start finishing up the under dash area. No more heater core, no more blower, climate controls FTL Plenty of room for the MS and a on board PC to live peacefully, not to mention another round of weight reduction. Only thing really left to do is remove 3 pieces of the remaining air ducting.

Got a mint IBM T30 ThinkPad 2.2ghz P4, 1gig ram, 60gig HD for xmas from the wife :D. Should be plenty good for MegaSquirt tuning. Now to devise a table/tray for it that will fold out of the glove box until I actually get a permanent onboard PC tuning solution. Also ordered up some all new black silicone couplers to replace the ugly blue ones that I've had. More updates to come...

If I'm lucky, maybe 20lbs from just under the dash.. certainly nothing to brag about.

Yeah, but take a little here and there, and you can get rid of quite a bit!

I just weighed my protege, and I finally got it down under 1600 lbs!

I took an ounce out here and there, and it all added up! And I figure I can still get another 75-100 lbs out of it yet. I still have allot of my underdash stuff, including heater, blower, ducting, radio, control panel, and a few other things.

I'm way behind on getting this back on the road.. Still haven't finished the MS yet, but have high hopes to get it done in February, Life happens... Right now I'm fabricating a new oil drain flange and line for the ol turbo I had a nightmare about the current one failing which lead to the car going up in flames can't be having that happen, so I'm going to take care of that right now! I'll post some pics of the original one that I rigged for the Flyrtle dyno and of the new one. I've already had to fix it twice for failing.. I should have fabbed a better one ages ago.

Really easy for me to tell each time it snapped off at the flange because the oil drips out of the turbo right onto the exhaust and having the hood vents allows me to see the smoke quickly. Really I'm an idiot, I never resort to rigging things ever, but it had to be done so I could make it to the dyno. I kinda got lazy about working on my car because getting Tony's GTR swap done/running was more important at the time. JB weld FTL Come daylight, I'll weld it up and finish it

Here is the ghettoness I speak of.

Pics of the new one will come later today!
