why did you mount the fuse box there and not in the normal location?

its alot cleaner of a location then stock. at least once you have no battery, and no stock intake set up. the factory location looks cluttered with the fuse box up there. seemed to be a better idea to get it out of your eye sight as much. just had to cut off a few tabs so it would lay flat there.

what did you do about the fuel lines?

i know on the escorts that it has like the hard plastic lines, did you just run all new fuel line (soft hose) or what did you do?

Proteges have rubber fuel lines.

yup didnt have to mod anything for the fuel lines to fit... but i am gunna eliminate how it goes from hardline, to rubber, to hard, to rubber again.. dumb ****in mazda lol

also quick question. If you use the mx3 lower control arms do you still have to use the kia axle? I would think the mx3 axles would work.

mx3 axles will work if you get the mx3 control arms

^^ yup they sure will.. but Ive been driving around for over a thousand miles with the kia axle on stock control arms... it binds around lefts turns if im going over 40 but otherwise im good... still gunna swap em out since i got em. but my underbody is so rusty im worried about snapping the bolts off...

if you snap the LCA bolts then you have issues lol they're fat 17mm!

ive snapped many-a strut bolts and other suspension 17mm in my day... and my protege is by far the rustiest vehicle ive ever owned.

LOL!!!! mapp gas is my friend... Im just being lazy right now... I need to get a different muffler and add another resonator... this dynomax sounds like SH!T
