I run the Yellows on the Celica, and i LOVE them. The Greens were good for a street car and lasted forever, but from a performance standpoint, meh.

If you could come up with info on that brackets, that would be awesome! These EGT seats HAVE to go. I'm not about to try to autox with these things.

I had Reds on my old turbo GT because I got them cheap ($25 an axle set- how can you beat it?) but they were definitely a track pad- garbage when cold, noisy, dusty... I dunno.

as for the seats: apparently Sparco brackets fit the stock seat sliders

Oh... i'm not worried about that. This car is less of a street car than a race car. As is the Celica.

That first stop in the morning is pretty scary though, isn't it? The Reds, well... everything you don't like sortof comes with the territory.

        Thanks for the link man!

your getting a set of RPF1s??? Dude i hate you haha.
Those are the xact size I have but only have the front 2 just for the track. I wish I could get 2 more to complete to set.

Heh, don't be TOO jealous. They're replicas.

Using them as a stand-in for now. When the build is "finished" we'll go a bit nicer... probably beyond RPF1s, truth be told. I'm thinking Advans.

RGIIs ftmfw... I'm thinking about Meister SP1s for when I go 5-lug, though I dunno if I really want to drop $2k on a $500 car...

the Reds were awesome when they were warm- great bite, no fade, not even any issues in the wet, but for a primarily street car I need something a little different.

There is/will be a LOT of money sunk into this car. A set of $1500-$2000 wheels isn't out of the question.

I wish I could say the same lol, I don't think I've put $1500 into my Protege yet...Hell the car only cost me $400...cost me more to bring it home than to buy it!

Alrighty.... harness bar? Anyone have any ideas/solutions besides going to a fab shop and having them make/weld one in?

Anyone had success with any universal ones?
Are there options that people on here are making that didn't turn up in the searches i did?

Got a $2000 bonus at work coming on the 11th. Get ready to see a CRAPLOAD of parts start showing up.

Rims are here, need to get pics up. (Thanks Erik!)

No input on harness bars? Bummer.

                        Here's what i'm thinking for a battery: http://www.performancedistributors.com/batteries.htm

Both their battery AND mounting bracket. Unsure if i'm going to bother relocating at this point.

that's quite the bonus!!! Never heard of Dyna-Batt, but I've seen people run the Odyssey dry cell batteries before without issue, and they can come pretty small with a good amount of CCAs.

Harness bar? hmm...I've seen people run their belt harness from the rear seat belt holes, but as for a bar...hmmm

I was only expecting $750... turns out i creamed my goals hard enough to be bumped into a yearly bonus for 2010 at the same time as my 4th quarter bonus. Nice surprise, just heard about it today.

I should be able to get pretty much everything left with that check minus tires, seats, and exhaust.

Yeah, i'm wanting a real harness bar, though if it comes down to it, i'll use the rear belt locations for now.

^That's what i'll end up doing if i can't find a universal to fit, and it looks like i wont.

Though... i have power belts, so that might be interesting to do. I think when/if i go that route, i'll just have it welded in.
