super clean man! if you just want a spare wheel or 3 there is an egt in my local jy with only 3 wheels. I also have the early egt spoiler in black in my garage if you wanted to go that route.

lol yep thats the mani in there. thanks, but I do have a vf10 sitting in a box, or the tbird Im running now may end up on the escort, along with most of the stuff thats on it. havent made up my mind yet. The protege will be getting something a bit...bigger next year. :D

well I got the engine cleaned up. Pulled the rad, tstat housing, disty, and exhaust mani last night. I am pleased on how clean the exh ports are, not much carbon build up at all. Interestingly enough it was still rocking the original thermostat. Replacing that and the sending unit since Im already all up in there lol.

Ordered new freeze plugs and valve cover gasket from mazda today. Ill be putting on a mazda valve cover. Ordered some stuff from rockauto too, ngk plugs and some misc paper gaskets. still need a few little thing to bring the engine up to my liking. I want to drain the trans, but Im undecided on what fluid I want to go with atm.

yeah no cruise/power options except mirrors. less **** to go wrong imo. little bit lighter too, an we all know how much of a stickler I am on vehicle weight lol

lol. And I know, I feel but Ill keep it in tact. I cant drive the red car as it will be a part getting more turbo and such. The grey car has to go. Im not putting another dime or part from my parts stash into that car. It was a one winter wonder LOL.

yes it was, but i got if for 400 bux. Ive fixed things here and there, new clutch. I just wanted it for last winter so I didnt have to drive the red car.



Just got back from a 6 hour round trip to nebraska to pick up an mfactory lsd trans. Drove the escort and it was flawless the whole way. I LOVE this car lol.

ok. heres some pics of the work I did to the escort last week.

Replaced the leaky freeze plug, cleaned up the headlights/fogs, replaced the disty oring and cap/rotor, changed the trans fluid, new ngk spark plugs, threw on some wires I had but still need a newer coil wire. new t-stat, new upper rad hose. replaced the iac too, the one on there was dead. Cleaned up the bay just a little too.
