lightweight flywheel + clutch kit .. think mostly daily driver, moderate boost, fair amount of freeway driving, with a good amount of stop and go
i'll be honest and say that ive never driven a car with a lightweight flywheel but i do understand loosing the reciprocating weight and how that affects the motor but what about the driveability?
who's put one in and can give me a before/after description

Are you going to order that clutch and flywheel in the link. If so that flywheel won't work on a bp because it is for the kl.
I am running a fidanza flywheel and the only time it really affects driveablilty is from a standstill. Basically it makes it easier to kill. It is not a problem though when you get used to it.

I have a fidanza in my wagon, and I've yet to stall it. It's my first lightweight flywheel and I really love it. It feels natural.
It makes rev-matching and double clutching the shifts painless. In combination with my sts, up/down shifts are easier and smoother than with the stock flywheel. Best $11 I've spent on my wagon! (junkyard score, FTW!)Last edited by CODY004WD; 07-10-2012, 11:21 PM.Current:

was going to keep the drum brakes until after safety as i was waiting for some poly bushings to come in .. looks like i'll have to swap in the disc and redo it all again later as the damn wheel cylinders were leaking... besides groceries/ gardening and being beyond careful not to break any bolts i have the rear subframe ready to drop out as soon as i find my line wrench and the penetrating oil hopefully does it's job. i really don't want to have to run new brake lines front to back.
