Most definitely true.. I have run into that problem on other car lines as well...

Look. Run the 323 sub frame, mx3 lca's, and mx3 axles. If running a front 323/protege/escort swaybar, cut the drop link tab off the lca's and enlarge the hole for the end link. If no swaybar, no worries.

The minuscule extra width of the BG subframe vs the MX3 is not an issue.

This swap is super simple... It gets complicated by all the "different ways."

Honestly there is no downside to running the BG subframe/mx3 lca/mx3 axle combo. The only extra work with this setup, is a ten minute modification to the lca's to attach endlinks. The hole is already there, it just has to be enlarged.

As for the extra length of this setup, I have recently swapped to a manual escort rack, and i had enough tie rod to run it safely. I used to run a mx3 steering rack which has longer tie rods. It's a Bolton and can be depowered if you desire. You may or may not be able to run the 323 rack, but if not, an mx3 one is the ticket.
