I thought you had that 2 disc clutch that could be upgraded to a 3 disc?

Cancelled the order on it. I decided it was a little much for the street.

tell em you want an alltrac clutch with a mazda outside diameter for the friction plate.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

If it's full face (doubtful lol) unsprung wouldn't be too bad, but I'm sure you'd notice it with a 6 puck.

Sadly, i dont think a 6 puck is gonna cut. Probably gonna go with comp's stage 5 unsprung 4 puck disc.

I had the 6 puck before and it would slip on quick shifts.

Im not gonna be driving it much so i think i can deal with the harsh engagement to ensure it doesnt slip.

Makes sense that the BP clutch kit would slip since you were running an insane amount of boost (what clutch was that btw), and most kits won't hold much past 350-400tq

I just read the Spec stage 5 clutch will hold 570tq, and the ACT race 6 puck rigid setup will hold 645 lol you think you could make those slip?

Those are under the 88/89 All trac search btw.

pretty sure that the pressure plate matters more than the disc- I have a SPEC stage 1 with some random-ass Exedy disc and it only started slipping recently in 5th (at 1.8-2.0+ bar)...

I'm confused. Does an alltrac clutch bolt onto the BP flywheel? I thought you wanted a mazda clutch with the toyota flywheel?

Nope. You use the mazda flywheel and pressureplate. Tis a far better thing to not screw around with crank/flywheel interface. Besides it is much easier and cheaper to have a gt4 disc built with the mazda outside diameter.
