My 91' AWD Protege

Pulled my AWD trans out of storage in prep for the coming weekend



June 1st

Picked up the 91' AWD protege.... Driveshaft was pulled before towing



Went straight into the garage



Hmm rear axles lol



June 2nd

Pulled out the toast tranny and got the new trans bolted up

Here's the trans that come out of it, just a little toast lol




June 7th

Pick up a BG GTX trans for cheap, viscious LSD FTW.... This trans will get used at a later date though



June 10th

Got a temporary permit for it and began driving it

June 15th

Safetied and licensed

lookin forward to updates! looks like canadian delivered 4wds had fulltime 4wd stickers on the rear doors?

The car was repainted at one point (it has a nice pearl in the paint too lol), so I'll garentee the stickers are not in the factory location because it has a DOHC decal on the fender as well, which as you would know they didn't come with BP's but mine was already BP swapped when I got it

Now I just need to add the turbo parts and I'll be happy haha

I'm not sure to be honest, jack knows better of the history on it

It had JDM bumpers on it but the guy I bought it from kept those for his protege, the guy I got it from was named Brad, not sure if he's a forum member or not though and he never got it on the road, it has exchanged a few hands since the person who put all the JDM goodies on it lol

I remember seeing the fog light grill and he said it had a broken tranny. Also was this imported from japan and what was the stock motor? A B8?
