Tinting Tails...

i think i'm going to get a set of 90-91 taillights when i make my trip to get some other things i need... (couple weeks...)
what kind of tint did you use?

well the blue GTR i have no idea how they did it it looks like a profe-- tint job.

however when i had the tint on my 323 i just used the the tint spray, but dont clear coatt it. that way in months time if yo dont like it. it will fade away in the wash.

The stuff is called "VHT Nite Shades"... There are other alternatives, for instance, Spray Window Tint... but I just went and conformed with the other people on the internet who said that it was the best stuff...

In all honesty... Who is to detemine what is proffesional... its like the easyest thing to do ever... As long as you take your time, and make it actually worth doing... it should look "proffesional"... I guess....

No... I think he just took them off and took his time... masked off the reverse lights with clear contact paper...

It's more or less not legal in any states...heh.

Yeah... check your local laws.. but I'm pretty sure any obstruction to any of your lights in not legal... but If they arent too dark I dont think that any PoPo Will say anything...

Contact paper is that Clear Stuff we used to use back in the day to cover our textbooks... cmon man.. he he... Its basically like really thick clear scotch tape... Na Mean? i have 17's... and I posted some pics of em in another thread in the suspension/wheels section for first gens... I got my tires today... ill update it so its on the top... Peace
