Today, it sits, engine-less, awaiting a brand new JIS shortblock, a newer head, and all new gaskets, oil pump, water pump, intake manifold, etc etc etc, with 199,133 miles. Bought it for 100 bones in March 2007, and it had 136,083 miles. I've been rolling. Good ole' highway miles. I'll turn the sohc to 4500rpm getting on the highway to clear it out. Uses about 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles. Can't complain for 100 bones. Oh, and 76 for the title transfer.

tracer was at 211,111 miles today, uses about 1/4 quart of oil between oil changes 4-5000 miles depending on my lazyness, due to leak from rear main seal.sigpicComment
