Put a new pump on the rear washer, nearly **** at the price, stealership item, 72 freakin dollars for miserable little pump that is worth maybe all of 5 bucks. I had a water leak that filled up the rear wheel well and screwed the pump.
I relocated the washer bottle above the trunk floor so that won't happen again.
Spun it into a light pole. Bashed in the A-pillar. Windshield gone, drivers door, dashboard moved, quarter panel, etc. Still runs though, but unsafe to drive. Will be getting it towed. NOTE: traction on all season radials goes down distinctly at 15 degrees.
The car has a full set of ZX2 shocks & struts, plus Cusco front camber plates. I've got parts in the garage & basement to do the LX front brake conversion (calipers with full rebuild kits, rotors, wheel bearing seals, and junkyard spindles). I just also got roadrace engineering front lower tie bar.
Not sure whether to part off good stuff & trash, or look for "new" BG.
Bad day.
2003 Protege LX, MSP springs, Tokico HP shocks, MSP front strut brace, Racing Beat rear sway bar. Need tires & better speakers....
I would look for another BG to put all your stuff on. Get an LX this time, and you will be so happy with it. IF not, can I be the first to call dibs on cusco camber plates?

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

I remember driving my BP last winter with temps of 20-25 or so with my ES 100s which are stricly summer tires and it didn't seem that bad once i guess they warmed up slightly!

Cleaned out the brake system (and all that old rust-colored brake dust of my front wheels), polished/waxed it, replaced fuel pump, replaced cap/rotor, replaced old Bosch sparkplugs/wires with copper NGKs and wires, replaced PS/AC belt, and test drove.
The difference is amazing. Pretty much everything I replaced looked like hell. I'm surprised the car ran.
bought all new vac hoses. hopefully i can figure out this fkd up idle soon.
