looks nice turpro. i would've gotten these if i didn't find mine first. i like mine cuz their uber rare, but those gt ones look nice. are you going to do anything to fill in the gap at the end?

no im just going to leave the gap.its not that bad. the rim is my spare(dont have a donut)so i dont think ill let it go sorry

I got my protege to start...woot woot, but the timing is a couple teeth off I think. It idles very poor. I also put my familia moulding on. Ill take pics when I get her cleaned.

son of a bit**. damn drill died on me.got one side half complete. the metal rail(no 3m tape here)is mounted. just have to drill the bottom for the screws then i can mount it. heres a couple of pics.yes i had a flat. picking up the tire 2moro.

Well it's not a BG, but I finished painting the calipers and hubs on the wife's MZ3. I guess some doofus( NOT me, this time) at the stealership used wheel cleaner and dicked up the finish on the calipers and hubs. Hubs had rust stains and calipers finish was flaking. Too bad- that silver/gold color was nice!

man im sick of doing stuff to my bg...

today i got to replace my slave cylinder when a bolt fell out and it destroyed the piston and push rod... come to find out BOTH holes were stripped out, so i got longer bolts at the parts store (just a quick fix to get it home, im going to have to get a larger bolt and drill and tap). got home and finished up work on an escort lx i did a headgasket on, it runs like crap but it runs (it had issues before the head gasket)

Lately my radiator fan has been acting up. It turns on as soon as I start my car, and continues to run after I shut my car off. It runs non-stop while I'm driving around.

When I get out of my car, I usually just pull the fan relay out to get it to shut off, and put it back in when I drive around.

So being pretty sick of that, I pulled my car in after work. After dicking around with the wiring and relay and switches, I broke the water thermoswitch, but found the problem. Since I took out the a/c system, relays and wiring, the connectors were just hanging around by my left headlight, touching ground. That is why my fan was always on. It would continue to run after I shut my car off because the relay had overheated, and stayed on.

So now I need a new water thermoswitch and a relay.

Replaced the driver's side seatbelt rail since mine ****ed-up months ago and got me fed up with it. Also replaced the fuel level sending unit and haven't had the same problem from before ever since. Also, finally got aorund to inspecting where the oil in the engine is leaking from, and it turns out it's from the head gasket.

I finally put on that sexy rear tie bar that I painted along with poly frame mount bushings and endlinks.

I also changed my oil.

oh man, what DIDNT i do, so i pulled the engine/tranny out of my EGT again because things wouldnt line up, found out the clutch wasnt lined up. so i fixed that, bolted it all together then my throw out bearing fork decided to disconnect? so i had to take the tranny off again, fix that, now its sitting in the engine bay with the 4 mounts hooked up

i'll get it running tomorrow i hope, i just need something to drive while the pro's waiting for welds
