Today Im going to play with my coilovers and try and get it as low as I can but still clear speed bumps. And im going to remove the exhaust system so the muffler shop can redesign a new system to clear the ground so I can slam the car on the ground. It wont get a new exhaust unitl the car is running. Ill take picts as I work on the car.

You would have to defeat the alarm, then find the switch, then wait 20 or more seconds before you could start the car. Granted, most theives around here are going to be wanting to steal what's inside the car, not the car itself...but the fuel cut switch doesn't protect against that anyway

The power door locks is just a convenience thing Moreso for when I have passengers

My fuel pump switch and remote start button are wired so that they dont get a 12v source until the ignition is turned on. And the switches are hidden in different locations.

We have an Ice Storm Warnings today. So far, we've got about 1/4" ice and and bunch of sleet on top of it. The grip is perfect and we've got some awesome sweeping corners around here...so, of course, I took the Protege out and suddenly remembered how much fun AWD is. I was laughing like a little kid!!

I may have to run some errands this afternoon...not to anywhere in particular.

    Regards,
    Joel

I'd prefer to keep it seperate as they can try to trace that wire back and find another relay, etc. versus keeping it 100% separate from one another. But hey thats coming from a paranoid person! And yeah i don't have much in my car to steal except maybe empty soda bottles and random other junk, etc. BUT that damn "pink" color is a eye catcher and it sucks thinking about leaving her in a ghetto area which tends to have those that are "attracted" to that color and what not soooooooo yeah...

BobD its always a good idea to clean the bottom transmission pan & replace the filter when doing a tranny fluid change on an automatic. it may run a few more dollars in comparison, but your transmission will thank you greatly.

    Really??

I've always thought of doing that....
Most mechanics & dealers say it's a waste of time.
    (Mine is an AUTO)

Finally receivec the corksport front strut bar and installed in a 5 mins. It slid right on all of the strut mount studs, no twisting or forcing needed. This car is as straight as a new one, lol.
