Well, I'm fixed, I got the 99 Protege Tstat Housing on and took my Dad for his first spin in it since the swap. I beat the hell outta the car and he enjoyed it and immediately commented on the power differences so it's been a great week for me, I started my new job and got my car back on the road!

the last two days have consisted of me slaving over the two items pictured below. oh and i got the outlet on my aluminum radiator moved. should have had the mounting pins on the bottom moved too but i forgot

yeah, no 5th or reverse at this point. it appears to be a shifter arm issue since i have lost both, so its gonna come be a "pull it back out and take it back apart" kinda fixy...

swapped on 2 of the 4 egt wheels. Don't mind the monster tires. They will be off soon enough. Only temporary till I sell the 16s.

so heres some pictures of the progress lately. today i installed the brakes, valvecover, fuel rail, and some other odds and ends. the radiator is just zip tied in for test fitting and whatnot. no sense in making lower brackets for it until i get the turbo bolted up and make sure it all clears


thats a nissan s14 radiator, i had the outlet moved to the side of the end tank like the escort rad.


my polished valvecover... powdercoat on a whole bunch of stuff. taylor thundervolt wires. etc...


here you can see the fuel rail mike built. fit great!



s/r struts.. ground controls.. brembo blank rotors.. kvr pads.. ALL suspension components are powdercoated black.. all bushings have been replaced with poly (ES and superpro). the front rotors are elusive correct fitting BJ protege front rotors, they are thicker and have a better cooling fin setup.
