I'm with you on that. My paint's so bad that it chips away in a strong wind.

*sigh* I can't find the rest of my manual belt stuff, mainly the buckles that bolt to the floor lol...I've been working on swapping seats with a guy, so I'm going MX3 to Protege GT...got the passengers swapped already (rusty bolt on his drivers seat, so we haven't swapped them yet) but I have no way of hooking up the seatbelts lol...I was an idiot and tossed the OEM Protege seats, and the passengers rail (had the drivers off a few months ago) so I can't simple swap the seat onto the OEM rails since the auto belt has the buckle bolted to the seat lol....fu! Where are my floor buckles! lol

I'm off to my other storage spot to find my much needed parts lol

SUCCESS! Well, no floor buckles, but luckily the other seat I had in storage was a passengers side MX3 seat integrated buckle ftw...I just wish the "taller" of the MX3 rails (that holds the buckle) would swap over to my Protege GT seats...the bolt at the front of the seat is the same, but it's off by a good 2" at the rear :/ so much for them being the same

Hey does anyone know if this idea will work? I have some play at the front swaybar frame mount bushings (ES specific for this diameter bar), so I guess they've just been worked in well...lol...BUT I was wondering if I could simply remove the bushings and remove some material where the bushing splits open.

I'm thinking this would tighten up the bushings around the bar...just not sure if it'd affect how the bushings sit in the bracket.

I've done it before, just use some sheet metal to shim the bracket.

as long as the bracket that holds the bush still "bottoms out" and its tight, should be fine.If im reading you right.

Just bought GTR rods and Pistons w/ARP rod bolts, and a ceramic coated BP26 exhaust Manifold and T3 adapter for the Hatch! The plan is to build a GTR shortblock, and toss the BP4W head on it. Then for the turbo, I'm not really sure what all clears with the bp26/t3 adapter combo, but whatever the largest turbo I can clear and get a good deal on, will be bolted on. And I want to run the 2000 miata harness and run either Hydra-nemesis, or Megasquirt. Whichever I can find a good deal on. I want to run distributor-less, but probably wont do COP's... And I'll probably get an M-factory diff and Kia trans for the swap too. Sound about right for a DD?!

Sounds like a good plan Cody. What are you going to run for an intake manifold?
