In due time. I'm lazy, I need to get around to putting new bearings in my original front spindles, swapping them back in and putting those on lexy's car as the lf is starting to go. I felt ambitious the other day and decided to pull the whole dash, steering column, pedals and some of the HVAC. I wanted to strip the sound deadening out and quickly clean up the harness a bit. got my vj20 chra in the mail from bcowie today, excited for my future hybrid build lol...shame it won't happen right away!!

I took the comp wheel and turbine shaft/wheel out to inspect things, and the turbine seal juuuuuust started to leak lol, rats! Because as it turns out the Tbird compressor wheel fits into the VJ20 chra without issue! I popped the vj20 turbine shaft/wheel back into and bolted up the tbird wheel and she spun free as a bird..har har.

Ah well, I still need the chra machined for the larger 15G wheel when the time comes!

And yes a 2L turbo car that is about 2400 lbs vs a 3L v6 that makes 190whp and is 3400lbs the 2l will win but if I twine turboed the 6 we would have a race

Uh, if you had a problem putting the T-Bird wheel on, you'd have bigger issues, since the RHB5 CHRAs are all pretty much interchangeable...

I drove mine through the dang snow storm. Not fun this time, as there was hardly anybody on the roads, and I couldn't tell exactly where the road ended and the ditch began because there were no tire tracks. The only cars I saw out were a few cops and a lone semi. And two of the cops were in the ditch. lol. I guess even cops drive too fast in winter. Sort of funny, because they have been handing out tons of tickets lately for "driving too fast for the conditions."

also built a traction bar for it. to which i must say apparently worked well in the snow.

any of you ZX2 bros done a rear transmission mount? did they put the bolt in backwards on these, too?

I'm replacing all the mounts this week (along with installing Ferdi's crossmember bushings and my JPM 4-pt) and I'm kind of hoping it isn't going to be a huge PITA...

I am pretty sure it is, because I replaced that rear mount on a 3rd gen sedan before and remember cussing that thing, and I was doing it on a lift.

Yep you're right lol, noticed last night the exducer was the same size, thought it was larger as well! Guess not! I calculated a while back tho the GTX/VJ11 comp trim is a 48, while the tbird is a 55...thought it was a difference size completely, not just 2.5mm larger at the inducer lol...guess that plus larger comp housing adds up the 60cfm difference.

You may run into issues with the 4pt lower brace because of the OEM tie bar/subframe connector they use. That'll have to be dropped for the rear mount access either way though iirc.

Shoveled it out, and attempted to take it around the block just to have a little fun in the snow, but got stuck in a snow drift higher than the car is.... So, after another hour of shoveling, I'm home, and staying home....
