Atomic, you've got rewinds on both cars, eh? I've got a set of the 14x7 -9's on my AE86, they're just a great looking wheel for those cars.

Well, I've disassembled, and started re-assembling just for fitment..

received my 460's yesterday. Couldn't find my B-code, but I thought of another couple of places to search. Bought A-code today. Might have to go E85 sooner rather than later!

have I mentioned how jealous I am of your AE86? I was looking on eBay for more drift spares and found SSR MKIIIs and XR4s for SUPER cheap, but they're all 14s- awesome on an 86, horrible on an S13...

ps just rock the A-code and don't worry about finding the B-code, it's way better

Yep, a code is better than the b code for a boost application.

Not today, not even yesterday, but Thursday, I got the Familia emissions tested, and got new plates, as one of the old ones was bent into a mangled ball of tin from my racoon incident last fall. I've always been against customized plates, as they are conspicuous, but there's no blending in with this car, and I drive it a lot nicer than my daily for the most part. So I ordered a shortened version of "Dirt Squirrel".

Also, with all this A code talk as of late, I'm thinking of throwing mine in, with my 460s, and cranking up the boost a bit. I'm running 8psi right now (spikes to 9.5 for a split second), thinking of pushing it to 13 or so. Do you guys think that would be too much for my pour little VJ20 with a large intercooler, and 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust? I hit the factory fuel cut currently at about 10psi due to the increased flow.

Yeah, I'm leaning that way too. And nice score on the black interior pieces. They look so much nicer.

Ha, that a bit excessive! Good to know it can be done . Did it last long? Maybe I won't even bother with the 460s. They've been sitting around a while, and I don't want to get them cleaned and flow tested.

I cracked a ring land first. ****ty IHI gate = runaway boost off the gauge. I think Brandon ended up using the turbo on one of his cars.

Found 1 loose pin in the column ignition wiring that was killing power to the fuel pump. Spend 2 days undoing my wire tuck thinking I had done something stupid. **** me

                                wrecked my grandpa's race car.

He raced it in yesterday's Casual Joe's 200, at State Park Speedway in Wausau, Wi. He was doing ok in the first half the race, but got loose after he hit the water in the middle of the corner while applying the brakes to avoid a slow car, (the ground was thawing out, and was causing water to run of the bottom half of the track in turns 3 &4. We run race or shine, so the race went on anyways.) and slapped the wall 1 lap before the halftime break for pit stops. When he hit it, he bent his right rear strut and possibly his lateral link. We knew he bent something, as the right rear wheel was toe'd out quite a bit, but we didn't have time to fix it, and he decided to try finishing the race so that he could get some money from the payout. Right from the first lap of the second half, he almost spun out because it was so loose. The water just made things worse, and he spun out multiple times in the last 100 laps. But somehow he still able to finish the race in 8th place, out 0f 36 cars! Idk how he did it, but he did.

Anyways, after the race, there was a "fun" race that was put on just for the crowd, and he let me go out and try and win it in his car. Well, long story short, I went from 8th to 2nd by the first corner, but the 3rd place guy got spun into me on the next lap, and destroyed the right front. Turns when he hit me, my upper strut mount tore out, and the strut shaft dropped down and then jammed up into the fenderwell. Besides the strut mount, I think the strut got damaged, as well as the tie rod, I think that's about it.
                                Here's pics of the damage.
