15x6.5, narrow, yes, but 4wd rally car, and good deal.

          fair enough.

I've passed on a few good deals because I can't bring myself to run anything smaller than 15x7 on the 240, especially as drift spares...

I did the same thing basically, but when I tried moving mine over that far, the amp was resting on top of the blower ducting, and I don't like that. So I cut the ducting away. (Nobody ever sits in the back of my car, so there's no reason to duct air into the back seat area.) Plus, I wanted 3 bolts holding my amp in. So I used the stock hole for that one, and then used a self tapper for the other front one, and drilled a hole & used a nut and bolt in the back.

Did a really, really rough elow-and-duct-tape mockup of the manifold. It clears the radiator, just, and seems to locate the turbo where it'll need to go. Closer to getting it tacked, to truly find out. by the time some manner of very thin fan is on this rad, the engine bay is gonna be a tight as the rallycars'...

Excuse my ignorance if you've talked about your heat problem already; I've been AFK for a few weeks.

I had a strange heat problem in my old 626. Flushed the heater core, changed the thermostat, nothing worked. I checked behind the dash, and the linkage for the heat flap was broken off. Could be something to check.

IIRC he said one of the coolant lines from the heater core was cold.

It flash flood showered half way though washing the car yesterday. Going to see if I can make the hood not look like ass today.

I may have grabbed the wrong hose- I checked again today while waiting for it to cool down and both hoses were hot.

                          cliffs:
-radiator and water pump are a month or so old
-thermostat is a week old (and the proper temp, minus the little bleed valve **** that the Motorcraft t-stat has)
-PO had heater core replaced a year or so before I bought it
-heat was weak last year, not much better now
-coolant system has been bled and levels are good
-temp control cable works properly (can watch the cam thingy move when you turn the knob)
-vacuum control bull**** seems to work
-heater core does not seem to be plugged, both hoses are nice and warm (and relatively equal temps) after 25 minutes or so of driving
-temp does not go up when revving the car
-temp gauge is solid at just below half
                          -upper rad hose is hot
                          -not losing coolant anywhere

I don't really know what else to check at this point.

If both hoses are hot, you've likely got something going on in the car. Mouse nest in front of the heater core perhaps.

car doesn't smell mousey or anything. I'll have to see if I can take the glovebox out and get a look at the ducting and ****, if I have to take the ****in dash out I'll replace the heater core anyway.

That's most likely your best bet. There almost has to be something in there blocking the air flow over the heater core. You've checked everything else. I know I had pine needles in mine when I just took my blower apart a few weeks ago. Maybe you have something like that in there?
