          Got the rest of my Prosport gauges installed, now the stock gauges look really dim.

                noticed something. my idea of putting a sunroof in the wagon is flawed. that damn design if the exterior roof skin won't allow for a skin transfer from a coupe/sedan to the wagon. kind of a bummer...

                but i got another idea =D

                    adjusted the coilovers a bit. went from full soft to 17L/18R in the front and 20 in the rear. ride is still much better than lowering springs and the car only hooks left a few feet when the turbo spools instead of entire lanes...

                          Well, The wagon has developed a squeal... It's like a ball bearing has rusted or something. It's coming from the front of the motor, So I am assuming accessory tensioners, or possibly timing belt Idlers or tensioner. Theres really only five ball bearings on the front of a KL right? Well 6, because now that I think of it, there is one in the power steering pump (which has been gutted in my case, Per Dan's post) I think I'll start with ordering a steering pump delete belt so I can eliminate that one altogether.

                          The problem that I'm having is that it will not do it at idle, or light revving. It is very selective when it happens... And it's pissing me off. Anytime I'm driving and there is someone within earshot... Bang it starts squealing like a stuck pig. Once they've gone out of range, it stops. People walking on the street always trigger it, as do people driving with their windows down. I know it has nothing to do with them, but WTF, thats the only time it friggen happens.

                          DAMN.

                            Thats exactly how I felt after going from eibach/SR struts to the K-sports. Mine were set on full soft when installed, but I stiffened them up approx where yours are at and it seemed to reduce the bouncy feeling.

                                I took mine to school for the first time today. I found I need to do a few things to it. One: install a set of toyota celica seats. The stock zx2 seats are too high and I'm hitting my head on the roof. Two: Install my 2.5" mandrel bent stainless exhaust. The stock one is too quiet. Three: Adjust the speedometer with my sct tuner. It's a few mph off with the tires I have on it. Four: The most important..... Get some bolt on parts! The ZX2 is way slower than my 323 was. I miss the high rpm power of the 323. The zetec has torque, but it doesn't have the high rpm power I like. Maybe a set of zxtuner cams and an svt focus intake might help....
