I've had similar things happen from fouled plugs, bad coolant temp sensor, vacuum leaks, and when my VAF came unplugged once. Are you running megasquirt? If so, vacuum and VAF shouldn't matter. How old is your fuel filter? Fuel pump?

Did you check you oil level? (Stupid question I know). And 2ndly i would agree to check your fuel pump. If all of your pipes are still in order & there's no major leaks I would lean to a fueling issue these motors don't just stop running how is your timing belt tension as well?

        hate megasquirt.

fuel filter and pump went in when I built the car.

didn't feel like a charge pipe went but it was too dark to look. besides, don't these things not run if you blow a charge pipe?

        timing belt tension is fine.

One of the coupler might have slightly came off.... The coil might be going bad and not throwing enough spark or a burnt/broken valve....

didn't have a chance to look at it yet because a) it was dark and b) I would have been late to work, but does anyone have an idea of what the **** happened?
think you're able to take a video of how she sounds man? It could be a few things, and some people might recognize the noise compared to typing out the possible issue.

This happened to my B2600i truck (bucket of bolts under the valve cover) when an injector stuck open and washed the HLAs of their oily goodness so I'm trying to figure out what else could cause that noise :/

Got both of mine stuck in the snow trying to get out of the driveway this morning. I can't wait to get my gtx up and running again.

I feel bad for my BG she's been sitting for almost a week (other than the fuel pump R&R and road test)...been slacking on making my parents an offer to borrow their spare car for the winter (as it was offered to me about 2 weeks ago), buuuuuuuut now it seems my sisters truck has blown the transmission and they'll be using my parents spare car for the winter now :/

So I probably won't be driving much this winter haha, if I do, it'll be on the nice days really don't feel like dishing out $$ for getting tires swapped around and an alignment considering I have that snapped retaining nut for my inner LCA bolt and wanting to finish up with the coilover sleeve install on the front... I also doubt an alignment will help the car stay straight in low-friction situations with that LCA bolt.

jack. theres enough room to get in there with a 17mm wrench on the back & hold the retaining nut. give it a try!~

bucket of bolts noise was the HLAs being extra pissed off due to low oil and it being ****ing cold out. added a quart of oil when I left work this morning and it was back to normal.

the no power/not running issue was the AFM, though I'm not sure if it was the door sticking (like what happened to Brandon's 4WD with the B-code) or from the light oil mist on the internals. either way, it was something stupid and the car's fine.

I bet it stuck open. Especially if you've adjusted the Allen screw portion. I used to do it regularly, until I got the perfect settings so it wouldn't happen.

I haven't touched ****, and Ace said he didn't adjust anything, but considering the cover was off when I got it (and I subsequently lost it on a 3-2 upshift) I have no idea.
