Ok, I always thought the point of doing anything to a car was to make people look? Of course, it should be to make yourself feel good, but still, you cannot tell me you are fixing your car up ONLY for you. That's Str8 BULL****.

I drive a supposed "escort" also. But its funny when people are like, "Look at the Racescort" and then we go to the track, and I smoke the hell out of his eclipse, and then he's saying, holy ****, its stock? I raced him 2 weeks after I got the car, and keep in mind, it is an auto, and he was amazed. Now that I am getting stuff done to my car, he won't even race me, all he has is a ****ty little Intake, and some 17 inch ugly ass rims.

Then there's the guy with the Primer black civic hatch....but that's a different story....

In a way I understand what Tweaks is saying, but if you mod your car to impress others you are wasting your money. Why spend money to impress people. Unless the people that you want to impress are judges in contests where the prize is money, which is enough money for you to break even. Then this would be a different story. The reason I choose to do it, is mainly for my own saftey. aside from the Carbon Fiber hood I am getting.
I do however like when people look at my car and give it complements on it's looks and style. soon with my new rims .......c/f hood and turbo to match there should be few compliments from people unless they are at a stoplight..

i dont care what people say about my car, i like it, that what count. it never hapen that some one come to me and said the they dont like my car, they normaly say: i normaly don't like the escort but i like yours. :p:
