If you have a $1000 budget, yes.

My setup was pieced together for around $400 total. A $600 difference. Pretty substantial.

But I only did the fronts bc the rear sits fine. But even If I did the rear, it would be another $150. Still half price of the ksports.
My car is a Vazondissan. Part Nissan. Part Mazda. Part Ford. Part VW. Part Honda.

1993 Protege - DX with LX upgrades. Still rockin' the SOHC. Custom HID headlight Retrofit.

2009 Mazda 3 - Finacee Car. No power nothing. About to trade in for a 2014 Mazda 6 Sport.

I agree with both of you lol, I agree it'll probably be the best $1000 anyone could spend on suspension, but most people can boost their cars for that, or get some sweet Familia gear, or a bit of everything lol.

my car also is a sohc and has a chattering clutch. What is your point?

What I did, works for what I needed it to do. the OP asked me what I used, I sent it and he made this to share.

he didnt name this "homemade vs ksport coilover, which is best?"

Thats like making a thread about a budget turbo build and you guys suggest buying a GTX3582R turbo.

K-sports ARE the best suspension mod you can do. Period.

Take the money you were going use to buy the cheap set and wait a little longer till you have the money again= you have enough to buy K-sports and will be much happier.

If the OP thinks the price of K-sports is unreal, go look at a TIEN or Moton or even a KW with the same features. K-sports are relatively "cheap" in comparison.

But I guess if you just want the lowered or slammed look and have it bounce all over the road with your JDM doll and tow hook dragging on the ground, go get the cheap ebay ones.

So what if he said the price was unreal or unreasonable. He paid $150 for the car and its his daily. Buy a car for cheap and pay 1000% of the price for coilovers. Makes perfect sense to me.

. Also, I pieced the setup together so it would ride decent l, and it does. It works as it should. I don't need 1000 worth of ksport coilover to drive across town just to say that I have ksports.

And also, it's 300lb spring, so it doesn't bounce at all. If you clicked the links, you would have saw that.

The OP said the price was unreal on the first post. I am not picking on you or saying anything about what you did with your car there guy, its your money and I am just stating my opinion. No need to get offended.

Everybody knows ksports are the way to go. But this thread clearly was not about the best way to go, but how to do it with minimal cost and still have a decent ride. And $1000 worth of coilovers is not the answer.

"I have a budget of $150 to buy lowering springs. Which ones should I get?"

Then y'all chime in, "buy ksports. ".

That **** makes no sense and don't contribute anything to the thread of realavance.
