    ^Sweet.

Sent monoxidechild the money for the Kia BP g-series. The transmission comes with shift linkages/shifter, slave cylinder, mounts, sensors and driver's side axle. He also said he had a BP valve cover and an MX-3 rear tie bar he could throw in. I told him I'd take everything, but not sure if he included these two extras. Not like the BP valve cover would do me any good any, except as maybe a room decoration, haha.

Anyone know where I can get the pedal assembly and the clutch lines? Or maybe something I could use instead of actual clutch lines? Thanks!

the best way i would say to get the parts would be from the salvage yard. You are gonna love getting rid of the auto. What are you plans for clutch and flywheel?

Not sure about the clutch/flywheel combo yet, still have to look into it. I'm not going to need something insane for less than 100 hp/tq, haha. Also, I just have to match that stuff to the trans right? Doesn't matter what engine? And I found a place to get some clutch line parts, but I think the pedal assembly will be hardest to find. Unless I can find a junkyard with one of these cars in it, ugh.

That's what I've been told. The G-series will bolt up to the Z5. I need different axles though.

If swapping the tranny, why not drop in a BP at the same time?

I don't have the time or money for an engine swap yet. Especially the money part. My dream would be to swap in a KLZE, though.

I'm just glad there's someone out there still working on a BH.

I'm pretty certain that every single one in Manitoba has rusted out quarters now, so keep on fighting the good fight.

My right rear panel is rusted and bubbling right around the wheel well. Also, water is leaking into my trunk from somewhere up around the rear window. My dad said he would help me replace the panel and hopefully fix the leak this summer, though

When you put those clear lens on, did you run a non projector bulb in them. If so how much did that help with brightness? I have read that you dont know where to find those lens new, has that changed any? Or does anyone reading this nkow where to pick up some clear lens for a 95 protege

Just swapping the lenses wouldn't work. The clear lenses are from JDM headlights. You'd have to swap in the entire headlight assembly. USDM headlights use a flutted(?) lense to direct the beam and JDMs use the reflector to direct the light. If you just put a clear lense on your USDM headlights, the light will not be directed and will shine everywhere, and could blind other drivers.

Search around for some JDM headlights if they make them for your year, I've never seen 95/96 JDM headlights.

They're the same appearance as LHD market, except they have an oppositeland beam pattern. Only the very last restyling of the RHD market BH got clear lenses.
