Haha, it's okay. The ECU is the only BP thing I have, and it was a freebie. I was going to have the machine shop shave the head a bit.

Anyone know how much I can have it shaved and still be on the safe side?

tell the machine shop to "max shave the head" that will tell them to shave it down to the factory suggested limit, so you'll be okay with that.

And they'll know the factory limit? Or be able to look it up at least?

On a side note, I finally got around to cleaning the EGR valve. That thing was a pain to get off. Must have used at least 1/3 to 1/2 a bottle of throttle body cleaner. Also some generic spry penetrant. The shaft finally started moving up and down freely with no sticking. My dad also suggested to use anti-sieze on the shaft, so I did that as well. Bottom half of the shaft, top half and the part sticking out of the housing inside the spring. Let's see if that finally fixed my problems.

Sweet. I still have to go get a price quote anyway. Also, still waiting on the shift linkage and hopefully MFactory gets my diff sorted out soon. I want to start taking **** apart! Hahaha

Thanks man I saw a Protege the other day and wondered if it was you, haha.

Also, I got a GTR shift knob from bogaut and a '97 grille from firelizard. No more painted crap, now I can cut it apart for a custom piece.

Needs some repairs, but I believe I can do it.

Got some more replacement goodies today

                    Bunch of bushings and endlinks:

The front sway bar end links are different. The left one cost more, but wasn't bagged. They're both Beck/Arnley, though...
                    Left:

                    Right:

Also, got all the boxes labeled so I know what's what:

On a side note, I forgot about my Cusco tie bar. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it sitting the corner, haha.

Just noticed this a few minutes ago. One of the points on the nut of my Corksport clutch line is rounded off, same on the other end as well as the brake lines. Is this normal for Corksprt stuff?

                        More questions....
I believe the pedal assembly came out of a BG (don't know the year). Anyway, what's this white box on the left side of the clutch pedal for?

And what is this black thing with a yellow plunger for on the brake pedal?

Then there's these two connectors under my dash. Theyy both have two wires going to them. The black one has the normal 22(?) gauge wires and the white one has much bigger wires going to it. What are these for?

the lines normally look like that, they fit into the brackets as such....... kinda like a puzzle piece

Oh, okay. Thanks Ryan. I wasn't really worried about fitting or tightening, just something I noticed.

Yeah, I posted that in the BG section since I'm pretty sure that's what car they came out of. And that's the answer I got from those guys as well. Just need to get a new one since the connector is broken off of the one I have.

Edit: They may have come from an EGT. I PM'd the guy I got them from to make sure.
