Well I almost got my break in time done on the new engine. I should ought to be able to see what it has in it this weekend but the guy with the escort is not going to be in town so I will try my luck out on the guy with the eclipse again.
I know it's spelled protege! I just can't change it. Deal with it!

I have only been running 8psi of boost and not running it hard just so I can get a feel for the engine and make sure everything is working the way it should. I should have about 500 miles on it by the end of work tomorrow so I will be satisfied enough to boost to 10psi and run it a little harder this weekend. I am trying to get a hold of an old friend who has a dyno to see about getting a dyno done but he has been really busy lately so it probably won't be for a few weeks.

Well right now I am trying to find a distributor from a junkyard because my damn coil is shorted out. The car was running good right up till it just died going down the road. I just can't beleive they want $365 for one. I won't be able to get one until friday due to thanksgiving. As far as dyno day goes it looks like I will be able to get a little shop time at my friends place on the 16th of December.

Well I got the ignition taken care of, as well as putting on a b6 throttle body. I blew out my first oil line today so I will be upgrading to braded ones later on. For right now I just replaced the line. I havn't had much time for racing or making video's lately due to work and the holidays but dyno day is coming up on the 16th so I am spending what time I can doing little things to get the car ready. Unfortunately it is already dark by the time I get off work so I have to do things on the weekend weather permiting. I have also worked on redesigning the intercooler piping for a front mount intercooler I plan on using. It will help with air flow and lowering the temp of the intake air so I can run 12psi. I have plans on modifying my side mount intercooler with an old fashioned type of cooling system to try and get the temps down around freezing. That won't be until after the holidays though.

The first time I put a turbo on my car it had an open downpipe when I tested it and it was louder than ****. You probably wouldn't get a block without the cops from four blocks away looking for you. It just echos off of the road and the bottom of the car.
