Msd & 1.5 L
I am new here and have just spotted this forum. Last evening I installed a 6A MSD unit on my '96 Protege. Everything works great except for one small item. The air bag light is on. I called the MSD support desk and talked with a tech and he said this was a known issue with this Mazda and they do not have a fix for it.
Have any of you guys been able to find a fix for the air bag light. Later I plan on starting to work through the wiring diagram of the car and see if I can come up with a fix. It seems to me that perhaps the computer is not sending a start condition from the MSD unit, just my thoughts.
