Snapped a few pics as I walked by it today, with my cell phone:

(notice the toe on the front wheels. 626 hubs, the tie rod mounting point is farther "in". With the lack of a 21mm wrench, we couldn't adjust them. Had to push the car all the way to where it's parked, which is level then downhill. Sucked!!)

The tie rods should have enough adjustment in 'em to make it fine.

I used the 626 hubs 'cause I had the axles. They won't fit the Protege hubs, and I didn't get the Protege axles with the car. Also the wheel bearing on the passenger side Protege hub was bad. Just gotta get the ABS cog rings...

is there any difference in wheel bearing size @ all? or are the hubs interchangeable?? that might be another option if all else fails

Yeah I put the 626 hubs on the car - they are interchangeable, bolt right up to the control arms and struts. Just where the tie rods mount to them is farther inward than the Protege's... just need to adjust it. We lacked a 21mm wrench. lol

nice man! the 98+ 626 V6 should have larger front rotors/pads too compared to your p5 from what i remember.

Yup, rotors/calipers/pads are bigger. Should be a nice upgrade PLUS the front rotors on my other P5 are barely within spec, so I have a decent pair for it.

I think I'm going to the junkyard(s) tomorrow... hope to get a front motor mount and who knows what else. We'll see...

I got the car with no engine or transmission. lol

Though I found a mount in my basement, and have the stock mount from my BG somewhere around here. Should be able to make something out of what I have.

haha that works man, you might be able to use the rear caliper brackets and rotors to run the larger rear setup found on the 98+ 626 as well!

Well that stuff I don't have. I only got the front drop-out. I can always pick up the rear brakes later though!

Details details... long time down the road. We're gonna get dumped on with ice and snow this week so I might not be able to get anything done on the car next weekend if it's buried. lol
