Ugh, i hate wiring..... found out that the TPS and few other sensor wires go into a section of harness i did not keep from the millenia, then to the ECU, so i gotta track down a pin-out diagram so i can get the wiring finished...... Did i say i hate wiring? lol

But on a good note, i've found where i need to supply injector power and power to the sensors, so its progress at least

the other night i was diggin through the wiring a bit more, figuring out where the power sources need to come from etc. and it seems like the power sources come from several different point through out the harness, my fear is that i'll miss a power wire and it'll run like crap, so i'm going to track down some more diagrams and i'm considering building my own harness, it won't be fun but the end result will be much cleaner and well worth the extra effort

At this stage, I would definitely do everything I could to use the millennia harness. The car can be 100% smog legal that way. Either that or build your own harness that incorporates the OBDII ports, and gives no CELs.

I'm not entirely sure how i'm going to do it, i know a custom harness will be a sh!t load of work but i've got my pinout diagram now so tomorrow i'll be taking another look at how to go about wiring this thing up, either way i plan to have everything hooked up so it runs like it did in the millenia, just like factory lol

                  ugh, i hate wiring lol

So since i got my pin-out diagram and i've been digging through the harness a bit more, and i think i'll end up cutting the harness all apart and re-wiring everything myself

It seems that the sensors/selenoids get power from multiple points in the harness and tracking them all down with be a real PITA with the possibility that i'll miss something here or there, so by re-building the harness to how i want it, i won't miss anything

Looks great... Wiring can be sooo time consuming... I remember when I did a HO quad 4 swap in my old 90 cavalier.. The wiring harness to me 14 hours to complete..

Thanks Jack, ya i spent all afternoon (probably 5-6 hours) on the wiring yesterday, i started by taking the engine back out of the P5, and connected everything to the engine, then i started to test every single wire back to the ECU to find out whats connected and whats not, and by the last pic, you can see all the wires i found that need to be connected...... man it was time consuming though

next is reconnect those wires to the ECU then i can trim out the extra wires that don't actually go anywhere, change the connector for the VSS to tie that into the P5 ECU so my speedo will work then splice on the connector for the reverse lights so they will work as well and the last things will be the heat gauge and tach will need to be wired in which i still need to order the tach convertor but thats a minor detail lol

If all goes well this afternoon i'm hoping to have the KJ back in the P5 and start hooking things up and hopefully try firing it up within a week
