Funny how you mention the colors lol. I was just recently thinking of changing it up once I'm done getting the p5 swap finished. Now that the EGT is gone, I kind of dislike it The entire car however is getting matte blacked once I'm happy with it.

Went out and bought a digital borescope to check on my rods to see if the bottom is indeed a GTR. Probably won't get dirty with that until tomorrow as I tried fishing it through my turbo oil drain. I couldn't get it past the MBSP due to the placement of the oil drain. Looks like I gotta drain my oil and go up that way with the hopes of getting it past the oil pick up tube..

going to try out a cheap borescope too,but to check out the piston crowns.my motor seems to be running pretty good and clean.but i really have no idear. if its nasty i may try out a motorvac.if its bad i think ive got some oil control problems.i don't/hope think it'll be too bad.

Just an oil change and light tune up for my moms new toy while it was in the area. She's always been a car person and has been in the Ford/Mazda club longer than myself :x In fact, it's her fault and the reason why I started liking BGs.. Tis where I got my first EGT from! Besides it being an automatic, I think she did a good job picking this one out on her own. She'd still be driving a manual if it wasn't for having a bad knee.. so I'll let that slide

Finally got around to cleaning my carpet and scrubbing the floorboards clean. Big change in smell from the ambient odor that once was. Now it actually smells fresh **** was super skanky before.. I have so much little stuff left to get done with this thing Thinking about going for a fishing run tonight with the borescope, we'll see though.
