The timing belt are supposed to be replaced at 60K miles and I've been replacing the pulleys every other timing belt change (I think most people would recommend changing them at the same time though). The water pumps have been lasting me about 100-110K miles (I have 260k on my Protege). I did replace my second one at ~240k because I thought it was leaking. It turned out to be the radiator but I replaced it anyway since I had already bought the new pump and it was due for a timing belt change.
