Just an idea, why dont you get a sheet of cork and cut out your template with that? Its very sealable, and i doubt it will shrink like rubber does under cold temps. If you even wanted to, make teh outside of the template slightly larger than the area it has to seal, that way you can put pins all around the sides of the cork so that on the odd case it does shrink, the pins will stop it from getting too bad.Diary of a nerd;
