Swaybar touching control arm possibly?

the rear sway bar faces the back of the car and the front one faces the front of the car in the BJ protege eh? Not sure about other proteges though

I may be tired or not seeing things right, but is the sway bar facing the wrong way? I thought they pointed towards the front of the car, not the back?

Also if you snapped one of the sway bar mount bolts, I'd drill it out and secure it with a nut at the back side, my BG did the same thing but was an easy fix.

I'm pretty sure it's facing the rear just like in the photo you posted...

Yes, BJ chassis rear sways face the back of the car.

FYI, I fixed this with the proper rear endlinks!
