the pacesetters really don't need the nyoil's generally speaking.

Nah I don't make 'em. Not worth the effort for sales volume it would generate.

What's up? Drew sent me over here because I need a set of bushings that Ford no longer sells; the larger "o rings" that actually go on the shift rod. Unless I'm mistaken I see them at the top of the first picture. Are those the "big" bushings you refer to in your package? If so I need a set for a '91 Tracer LTS (aka Mercury Protege 1.8L). Can I get them and how fast?

Yup, the big bushings are the ones on the stabilizer rod. It's actually the other rod, right next to the one that makes the gear changes.

For now I'm all out of the big bushings for 1st gens. Sold the last ones last week. I will be able to get some in about 3 weeks.

Okay, I'm running into the same confusion I ran into on FEOA. The bushings I'm specifically looking for might not be considered bushings. When you change shifters, there are two giant o-rings above the ball. I'm looking for the bushings that actually go around the shift lever inside the car, not underneath. I need a set of linkage bushings as well, but more specifically I need the ones that are inside the car underneath the spring that holds the whole assembly in place.

Look at picture in step 12. Those are the ones I need.

If you mean those two white 'ball cups', then the part# is B455-46-086 and they were around $5ea from the dealer, I think. I might still have two used ones somewhere, but I would just get them from the dealer.

Thanks, that's exactly what I've been trying to find for the last 2 weeks. I'll call the local dealer in the morning to see if they're still available. Ford disco'd them so that was a dead end.

Now, on a side note, I am interested in the bushing set offered here as a group buy. Is that still going on?

Ok, I don't make the cups unfortunatly.

As for the other bushings, I'm all out right now and my machinist is off for a week (gone fishin') so no bushings for at least 2-3 weeks.
