If anybody has autodesk inventor I know you can do a force analysis on it. It wouldn't do you any good unless you have a k frame drawn up too, to attach the brace too and test as a unit. You want to limit the movement of the k frame not see which design deforms more. They may only allow .001" difference in deflection on the k frame but you wouldn't know that with out analyzing it on the k frame.
