Changed my mind. I'm definitely interested if these stay in the $300-ish range.
Would they come with bushings? (I may have missed this)
I have a feeling i'm going to end up ordering your entire catalog, Jim. Speaking of which, do you have an email address i can contact you at? I've got some questions about some of your other products that i wanted to ask, but didn't feel right about thread necromancing at the moment.

That's funny---it's an addiction with these cars, I know---that's why the catalog keeps growing for a car that hasn't been made in 15 years! The arms will come with the pin in the back, a rodend up front (with misalignments) and either a plate to bolt the balljoint on, or a rod end /spherical balljoint with pin---that would be a bit more pricey and I haven't decided as of yet---not really a ton of interest in these really so it may end up getting the spherical balljoint for my own application...
If it's ok, i'll likely paraphrase your responses in my build thread so everyone can see it all in one spot as reference. Your descriptions on your website probably answered most of the questions, but maybe went over my head a little.
I'm really liking this so far. I think if you went with a rod end / spherical balljoint / pin, you'd be able to easily dial that end to work for 4WD or 2WD applications, provided the rod end is strong enough. Although, using a plate instead would allow for much less expensive balljoint replacement. Although the RX7 one is 70 bucks, so maybe not....
Apparently the 2WD LCA gives awider track than the 4WD version, to the point where the negative camber when used on a 4WD is enough to wear the tires. I think for r-comps on tarmac, it wouldn't be a problem, but for rally tires, it would chew'em up pretty darned fast.
rally cage
rally skidplate mount
rear xmember
LCA's
one set for the escort wagon, one set for the 4WD pro.. you're going to end up getting all of my "discretionary income" ! lol!

Yeah a rodend at the balljoint end would have benefits for sure---Over on Jay's thread they've (JRally, Jay) been talking about the 2wd arms in the 4wd---might be a good way to get some negative camber (I wonder when the axles/CV's are going to start to disagree) for pavement!
It's certainly fun dreaming about this stuff---I guess at some point my goal would be to have a small online store where I guy could go at 2am and build an entire car/plan out his project/budget and after a couple of clicks/reasonable amount of manufacturing/shipping time have a "kit" show up at his house to start assembling a fun racecar. The chassis/construction of these cars is still a great usable platform and competitive---the gearbox/track/wheelbase overall weight/even aero is still comparable to more modern stuff---the HP is harder to get, but I don't think anyone has really developed the BP seriously.
The BTCC cars, WTCC cars, our World challenge cars make 280HP N/A out of 2.0 engines (and many started out as 1.6 or smaller). I'd like to see someone develop engine parts for these---I know the miata guys have stroker kits, but we need a head/cam/intake/TB package to compete with the Honda stuff---Anyone up for the task???? Now I may be dreaming...
