So how do you adjust the rear camber? "Crash bolts" or the like down at the spindle? That's what I did with my old S/R /H&R combo (well just dremelled the top hole on the strut a little). Was kinda hoping the ksports had/have a better setup.

I believe the ksports have a milled slotted hole on the rear clevis---or maybe I did that---the ones that are on my car a few feet away have a flanged bolt/washer so I can't see it!!! I'll try an look at the other car when I rack it tonight...

I don't know if the earlier ones have it, but the upper bolt hole is slotted front and rear for camber adjustments- the instructions say to use the slots for getting a rough camber setting and then use the plates for fine-tuning.

Thanks---I was pretty sure the upper hole was slotted---it's plenty to get up to 2.5 degrees neg in the rear which is more than most will need back there.

Alright, the ksport design is what it is, but wouldn't it be much better to keep the strut parallel to the wheel and adjust the camber at the strut tower (assuming you have the room to do so which may not be the case here)?

That's a great question---and it turns out it can go either way/be better or worse. When we move the strut at the mounting holes, we change the tire contact patch very little which effects roll center/scrub/etc very little. If we move the upper mount a little bit, it changes the angle of the strut which moves the roll center a whole bunch. When I was racing that SRT4 in Grand-am where the camber was limited to 3 degrees, the dodge engineers "modified a spindle" for me at the factory in Mexico and asked me---what was the height at the sill, where was the camber plate in relation to the 4 stock camber plate mounting holes, and what was the static camber at ride height. They sent me the spindle and said max out the camber at the strut mounting holes (run a spacer if you need to) and move the camber plate back towards center until you get to the 3 degrees---this moved the roll center back up and gave the chassis about a 3/4" rake (geometrically/roll center wise). The car gained so much front grip we had to soften the rear bar/change rear spring rates to add rear grip to get the car back to neutral...

Did you guys look into BC coilovers? They're bolt on and way better then K-Sports. They go for 1050, but BCNA might take a group buy.

This is for their off the shelf roadrace coilover---I haven't actually tried their gravel stuff yet---I'd be interested to though---they're considerably more money, but if your interested I'll work a deal with price and try an fit it into the group buy somehow.

Well most dont know BC's fit our cars. Everyone thinks they're stuck with KSports. I've yet to see one person on CP with BC's. Just exploiting the options.
