Ok so the machinist dropped of some pins finally---2 pins...he said he'd do a bunch next week for me and hopefully stay ahead of me while I build them. So I should be able to start on Monday---finally...

Yeah, depending on workload, I should be able to kick out a set every other day---it actually only takes about 2.25 hrs to put the arms together once everything is going, but with my workload now (this week I was slow---probably could have kicked out 5 sets---next week, rollcage's in Honda, FIAT, and a Mercedes 190...) 2.25hrs is harder to come by! I'll keep you posted---yours will be the first set for "setting" everything up!!!

yea i can understand slow weeks. At least work means more money. I do know once i move out there, you will be getting alot of my money lol

hopefully i can find a place to get them powdercoated and then a nice day to install them

Matt's set is about ready to ship---I'm still waiting on the pins, in the meantime I'm building all the tube's/plates and what not so it'll just be assembly when they show---should be able to kick another set out by the end of the week. They are very nice pieces---I'm stoked on how they turned out.

Sweet! Benz's answer to the M3! Hard to come across those on this side of the pond. I think "A day at the shop" thread would be pretty cool. Just post all the cool stuff you get to play with on an every day basis!

Is there a weight saving worth talking about with these things? (i may have missed it earlier in the thread, trying to do ballpark weight of my car.)

Got some more of the threaded inserts and got the swaybar tabs from the laser cutter---you guys are getting a smokin' deal on these, after figuring all the machining/laser cutting costs (4 machine shops/one laser cutter) these things are going to be probably closer to $450 with labor. We cut the balljoint plates out as well---probably should of had those lasercut, but got bored yesterday... (the rest of the arms are for another project).

Ohhhh... those wouldn't happen to be mine, would they?
