Paging Hakoken and Itchy---I'd like to ship your stuff---need your shipping info so I can get you total's and get the balances/shipping quotes to you. Should finish up JRALLY's and Atomics this week if everything goes smoothly. Yep Ben---that's what you ordered/are getting. I've been making some other "custom" one off stuff using the pins/machined parts so I'm getting close to the end of the run/group buy. I can handle the unpaid gentlemen and Troy (swll???), but after that the group buy will end---Thanks guys for the support---this has been a cool experience so far---I'm excited to get feedback from everyone on the arms and their performance. I'll keep everyone updated/posting pics of the various arms--- we'll go over the swaybar mounting as well. Everyone needs to thank Matt for setting this up/pushing me into building them.

                They are here

Cannot wait to get them powder coated. Hopefully I can install them before I leave for summer.

Jim, the little spacer with the rod ends, which side will that go on? Also im guessing the rod end will need adjusted on length into the LCA or does it thread all the way in?

Powdercoating is a good idea, I didn't even get that far in thought. Just anxious to get my hands on these and throw them on!

Hey jim what info can you give us on the rod ends for replacements? Part number? Specs? Just so it's all in this thread for future reference.

The little spacer will go on the side that has the gap when you install the arm---I believe it'll be the back of the pocket. The rodend chassis/subframe mount is double shear---please don't over torc(k?) the bolt collapsing the subframe/chassis tabs/crushing the misalignments together---they're fragile!!! Also When the pin mount is installed make sure that the large washer is installed and is tight against the bushing when tighten---I'm hoping a thicker washer isn't needed---but I've checked the arms on a couple different cars and the washers are different thicknesses---it doesn't matter much on the stock arm, rubber bushings---but may make a difference on these units---this will all become self explanatory when you guys go to install them---you can call me at the shop if you need to 310-542-2977 or PM and I'll respond asap/when I see it.

Jorge the rodends are 3/4" x 3/4" 3 pc cromoly-heat treated-kevlar race/teflon liner and any brand will work---I'd expect to change them every year on the racecar---street car I'm not sure, you guys are all test pilots!! You can always call me---I've usually got them in stock or are just a few days away and they're around $30 each.

Oh---Matt you'll screw the rodend/jamnut home with about 3 turns or so left on the shank---test fit and adjust until the arm pivots up/down freely---take your time with everything---while I can change an arm at the track in about 6 minutes---there's know reason you guys shouldn't take a couple hours a side/take your time---don't get in a hurry, be thorough/make sure everything fits/moves nicely.

Hey Matt, could you snap a few pics of a stock arm underneath the tubular unit for comparison?

Thanks for all the advice. If I can get them powdercoated this week I will probably be able to swap them out during Easter break. Someone else might even get them installed before me. The weather has been crappy here and finals are coming up shortly.

I doubt i'll be powdercoating mine this season, running out of time, so i may end up installing before you. Once these are here, i get the rodends for the swaybars front and rear, and my rebuilt stuff comes from Good-Win, i'll be installing all of this stuff + brakes in a day.

I got this one Matt---Jorge, no the rear rodends are the same size, but lesser quality---still a good liner/race though for the dust in the rallycars.

cool, thanks jim. I hope wheel clearance isn't an issue with these at/near full lock. No idea how close the wheels get with the standard arms though.

I checked them with the 15x7-205-50-15 hoosier---and a 225 45 15 (and a stock escort wheel) and they cleared full lock/droop no issues---if you look back through the thread, you can see the photo's someplace...
