As a matter of fact...!!! The arms are about a pound lighter than the mx-3 arms---but quite a bit more durable.

Geronimo---thanks for the video link, I love that stuff and wish I was racing back in that era---I was driving trucks/buggies in BAJA/offroad racing in the late eighties/ninety's and completely missed the DTM/roadracing stuff---didn't even know what it was or care about it. Yes, you can bounce these arms off the curbs/jump with them in rallyracing etc...without worrying about them, of course you'll need my subframes as well (you may or may not already have them) and probably a rollcage to protect the unibody, and of course you'll need to seam weld it...ah hell might as well build a DTM car...

Yeah tell me about! The coolest part about it is every car there has identical sheetmetal / aero as their road going counterpart; real touring cars!. Some kick ass cars were produced because of that series back in the 80's. The DTM series went to a Nascar like tube chassis spec series later on so not as exciting anymore IMO

yeah except they turn both directions, so way more exciting than Nascar.

I'm a big fan of the BTCC and WTCC, they show up on Speed every so often

Some of my favorites as well---I love the aggressive driving of the BTCC and the technology in the WTCC. I was watching a WTCC race last season---Macau I think and one of my friends/customers Kevin Chen was driving one of the BMW's---crazy small world---I built him an S2000 which he crashed, then a Subuaru which he crashed (he was a good/repeat customer!) and then 3 miata's for grand-am which he managed to get rented for a couple of races until he folded and went back to Taiwan to do open wheel stuff.

The WTCC is coming to America to run with the US Touringcar Championship probably next year--my escort will run in that series---so we'll see how much quicker they are compared to the American ruleset (no sequential/gearset/r&p changes/11.5 to 1 HP to weight/no modifying pickup points etc...)---that an their drivers are Pro's where our US touring car guys are considered amateur at best...

Got concealer's finished/ready to ship out---now that I have everything I need, I should be able to kick out Jrally's/Itchy's/Hadoken's/Atomic's this week depending on the workload, maybe more. Suddenly a portion of my shop looks like an assembly line...

                        Awwwwwwwwwww HAIL NAW.

Been working with Jim for months on this build, these and my swaybars are the last of what i'm waiting on for the suspension.

Since Feb 22nd, to be exact. I think Matt and i bugged him about the LCAs enough that he agreed to the GB.

^ lol yea i cant remember when i asked him about them. what are you doing for a swaybar? i thought about getting a nascar style bar and hooking it up somehow.

so those pieces that you had to make for mine came in? should i need those? or will what you made suffice?

Been working with someone else about a "custom" adjustable unit. Probably 15/16" front and rear.

I'll post info in my build thread as more is learned/get mine in. Guy i'm working with is on this board, don't know how often he checks in, though. Don't really want to "out" him until he's 100% ready, you know?
