Installed my PNP MS
had problems with my Serial to USB converter.
found out my so called USB software in my laptop need to be updated so did that and everything works fine. had my friend find the website he got the software from and installed in my laptop (google "serial usb converter software update)

good product now time to enjoy the tuning

Yeah I was haveing problems with serial to usb so I bought the one from diyautotune.com this winter. They say it works

I have got it so I dont get any error codes when I open megatune. Where before I was getting a bunch. Been too cold to test it hopefully it works.

Used to get an error code that said the ini files did not match. Table curuption may occur. And it did occur lol. It sucked I only had the new computer with me had to limp the car home.

I hate useing my old computer because it wont hold a charge. otherwise no problems useing it at all. with the deticated serial port.

It will and has for many people i know. you just have to get all the settings right. it is allot more picky than the straight serial port.

you need to find a usb to serial that work good. i have 2 model here and one was not working and the other work perfect.

I am currently running MS with a usb to serial adapter. I had to spend money on a nice one that worked, but after that, I never had a problem with it.

I spend about $45-50 for mine, and it has gold contacts so it's a high end one. Had a cheap one before and didn't want to deal with buying another cheaper one and "hope" it worked. So I bought a brand that is good and have used before and is proven.
