I submitted the following to porterfield:
" Hello, Jay Woodward tells me that I can get a set of Mazda 323 GTR brake pads with your R4S compound. He sent in the blank at one point as a means to copy. Also says Sumitomo .15 was hand written on the kit. I am trying to find some brake pads and if I can get them from you please let me know. Ian"
This is the response ( now I am cornfused):
"Yes we make them for the Sumitomo calipers. Which would be different than a stock 323GTR.
We simply call is Sumitomo .610 R4-S $139.95
Thank You,
Wendy Charlier"
She left me her digits, so I can call her and get it straightened out. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything. This may be something to take care of after the actual calipers are in my hands lol.Ian Boyd- Bellingham, WA (click vehicle to view)

hmm yeah there may be a tad bit o' confusion as all I have here are stock gtr calipers and what I get from them fit them. I seem to recall though that the first set I got from 'em had to have the tabs or ears or whatever you want to call them shaved down just a tiny bit to fit the sliders, but I don't think I had to do that to the last set. I wonder if that's what the ".015" refers to.'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Sounds like I better see to it I don't bust any of mine. No idea where to replace em. You try installing em from a std bg caliper?'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
