I hate it when people say things like that, because it always means I'm going to spend a lot of money on some new toy in the near future.

Personally, I like the DQX better, but I don't have that kind of cash. I would really like to get an Epic-160 for in-dash to go along with my EQX.

the DQX is great, if you need the cross over. but my 4XS has more flexibility 5 sets of outputs, rather than 3 so one set will x-over the tweets, one for the 5.25's, one for the 8's, and another for the sub

See, now you've gotten me hooked on something that two days ago I had no interest in at all! Maybe I'll buy it and then charge you for damages...

that is one of the nifty features of the DEQ-9, and the reason it is the guts of the MSP soundsystem. 31 channel eq and the ability to tri-amp with controls on the headunit while you sit.

that's a sweet unit, but still a bit pricey but that's sweet having the controls right there in the deck, so you can tune from the driver's seat rather than where ever the EQ would normally be mounted

ok, so i metered my buddy's system today. he has a JBL BP600.1 and his back seats don't fold down. plus he's using an LOC, and won't let me adjust things for him but he still hit a 136.27 on my term lab. with proper adjustment and 1,000-1200 watts i'd expect about 140 dB out of it easily
