Has anyone used the stock downpipe from the gtx on their swap? I heard of a guy with a wagon having a problem with it hittin the motor mount, but that mighta been because it originally had a 1.9 in it?

I am using one in my BP-turbo. There are no problems with it at all.

The little risistor pack is for the fuel pump, it tells the fuel pump to run at a lower voltage when fuel presure isnt needed as much. You can skip this all together running the GT ecu. You only need to change two things on the stock GT harness to make it work on the BP-T motor. The FPR selinoid and 02 plugs need to be extended to reach. Other then that, start, time, and drive...

So are you running the GTX injectors with the GT fuel rail? I am doing the same thing with my turboed BP, runs great with no problems at all. If you are running the GT ecu, then you should not have a problem with the fuel pump. What else do you have for engine managment?

Sorry i meant the intake out off the turbo, but it doesnt matter i wouldnt be using it anyways, i want it to go to the other side of the car.

how abouts do u go changing these 2 things, well the o2 has to be extended, that makes sense. But how do I go abouts the other?
              Thanks!

                  I remember reading somewhere......
If you run the GTX ecu it will want the knock sensor signal to be there when boost hits....

Not a problem if your running the BP09 or 10 ecu.

If your motor doesnt come with one I am sure dave can dig one up for you as well.

pm him or post is his parts request thread....

That and keep your eye on ebay and here in the parts section, every once in a while you'll see an ECU pop up or something.

i had the injectors in my car running no problem. basically plug and play. maybe tuning the vaf a lil if necessary but i had no problems...don't see why you would.

OK, What size IC piping should i use? I know almost everyone is using 2.5", but with stock boost (8psi) with plans of eventually goin to 14psi i think that would be kinda big, maybe 2"? What size inlet outlet are on the VJ-20? I thought it was like 1.5"-2"?
Would 2.25 be a good compromize?

^^^dont worry about my Q above i wasnt thinkin, lol^^^

Ok, i can get a safc2 for $350 cdn, is it worth it?
Can i run the gtx with just a safc with my stock gt ecu or do i need more?
All i really want is stock boost for now, but if i got a safc2 i could go above stock boost
I guess it wont work at WOT, so what do i have to do so I can not have my motor blow at WOT?
